JINGYANG brass 2 inch cam and groove dust cap. A 2′′ female quick connect coupling attaches to a standard 2′′ male cam and groove coupling on this type DC camlock (Cam and Groove) fitting. 100% virgin brass camlock couplings have excellent corrosive resistance to salty water, hydraulic oil, coolants, gasoline, and petroleum products. Brass camlocks can be used in a variety of applications, including marine fueling, due to their non-sparking nature. Brass cam lock fittings are available in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 8".

Brass camlock couplings, made of 100% virgin brass, have excellent corrosive resistance against salty water, hydraulic oil, coolants, gasoline and petroleum products. Thanks to its non-sparking feature, brass camlocks can be used in some special places such as in marine fueling applications. Brass cam lock fittings come into size from 1/2" to 8".
Generally speaking, the usual working temperature for brass couplings is rated from -150°F to +450°F. Always make sure the gasket material is compatible with the media.Both brass and stainless steel camlock fittings have good corrosive resistance, high tensile strength and durability. Brass coupling are softer and easier to thread than stainless steel. Due to increasing price of the brass, they are currently the most expensive Camlock couplings.
The assembly of a Camlock Fittings includes a male groove adapter and a female coupler. You can install the fittings by hand. In order to ensure the tightness of the seal, you can depress the cam arms and compress the coupler gasket. The fittings are mainly to avoid loosening due to vibration and accidents breakage.
It is easy and quick to install Camlock Fittings. The design is intended to provide fixed and leak-proof connections for hoses and pipes. In order to ensure the effect of fluid transfer, you can refer to the following steps when connecting a set of camlock fittings:
1.Pull back the lock above the cam handle horizontally and at the same time remove the handle from the coupler body to open the coupler.
2.Place the adaptor plug into the coupler.
3.Close the coupler by rotating the cam handle toward the coupler body. The male and female fitting is locked when the camlock handles are closed. The female coupler is fully sealed when the locking levers on both handles assemblies are sent back to the fitting body. To create extra security, insert a safety clip through the holes above the handle. Pipeline pressure will move the female coupler and male adaptor individually and ensure an increase of connection locking leverage. Safety locks are recommended to use in normal conditions. The female coupler and the male adaptor connector are used to minimize the fluid flow turbulence and the abrasion from the dry products system .
