Camlocks are commonly found in every industry, including manufacturing, agriculture, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, and military applications. This coupling is extremely adaptable. It will not become dirty or damaged because it does not contain threads. Camlock couplings are therefore ideal for dirty environments. These couplings are extremely well suited for situations requiring frequent hose changes, such as petroleum and industrial chemical trucks.

Global Cam & Groove JINGYANG The Type D Coupler x Female NPT is made of 356T6 aluminum and has Nitrile Rubber seals. It is intended for use with liquids. Type D couplers are typically used with Type A adapters of the same size; however, Type E and F adapters, as well as the DP, are compatible.

The most common is the Storz Coupling Sealed Cap made of aluminum (cast or forged). Cast couplings have lower material strength and are more susceptible to casting flaws. They are only suitable for low working pressure (up to 6 bar) and less demanding applications. We supply high quality forged couplings with working pressures up to 16 bar as standard, but we also stock less expensive cast couplings.

Type A adapters are typically used with Type D couplers, but they can also be used with Type B, C, and DC (Dust Cap) couplers of the same size. To connect, simply slide the male camlock adapter into the female camlock coupling and press the cam levers down with normal hand pressure. Uncoupling is as simple and quick as coupling. Simply raise the cam arms and remove the adapter.
